[vlc] No automatic start of playback when called from command line

Hi,

I am trying to open a streaming session with vlc from the command line, but 
currently the playback is started at one. Can the playback be delayed until 
the user does some action (e.g. hits the play button). Are there any command 
line options which can be set?
