[vlc] DVB-T tuning problem

Hi all,
I'm running a project aiming at broadcasting TV channels over the
student network of the INT (Evry, France) thanks to VLC.
I'm using Hauppauge Nova-T 500 cards, a Pentium 4 based computer and
debian testing OS.
kernel version is 2.6.19-2 and I'm using integrated drivers
(dvb-usb-dib0700/mt2060)
I'm using vlm interface with the following config file:

The problem is that none of the channels France2, France3, France5, or
LCP work. They are all over the same multiplexed dvb-t channel.
I have the folloing error messages:

I made the following tests:
- I plugged a laptop with an Avermedia cardbus dvb-t card running over
Windows and these channels work fine.
- I tried the linuxdvb tzap program and here is the result :
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
tuning to 586000000 Hz

If I am correctly interpreting the output of tzap, it means that it can
lock on the signal.
So I suspect VLC to be the cause of the problem.
