[vlc] VLC on 1 computer

Hi,

I play a racing simulation game. I would like to record it, without having 
to broadcast it in the short term> I don't want to have to use FRAPS.

I can run the game in 'windowed' mode, how do I get VLC to record the video 
and sound into an .WMV file?
