[vlc] Bug: Prompt dialog not properly cleared (OS X Intel)

In VLC 0.86b Intel if you try to eg. load a broken AVI you will be
presented like a prompt like so:

If you click "Yes" the controller window will look like this:
<http://img530.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture12qb3.png>

The only way to fix it is to restart VLC. Not even closing and
re-opening the controller helps.
OS X version is 10.4.9 with all updates installed.
