[vlc] 0.9.0 snapshot - "index out of range" error with menu items

Hi,

I have compiled different 0.9.0 snapshot versions using qt4 snapshot.
The current qt version is:

qt-x11-opensource-src-4.4.0-snapshot-20070517

I use a snapshot because with the release I'm unable to create a
package. So I have compiled qt4 and vlc snapshots. The current vlc
snapshot installed here is:

vlc-snapshot-20070514

Now when I launch vlc, if I click on any item in the "Media" menu
(except Quit), vlc exits immediately and the output in console is:

ASSERT failure in QList<T>::operator[]: "index out of range",
file /usr/local/include/QtCore/qlist.h, line 380

However, I'm not sure whether it's the fault of vlc or qt. I tried this
with two different qt snapshots (one from april and one from
yesterday), and with several vlc snapshots - the error still remains.

Please let me know if you know anything about this problem.
