The plugin is shipped separately from the macosx binaries. If you
didn't explicitely downloaded it, you don't have it.
You can see if it's active by typing "about:config" in firefox.

For uninstalling, you would do as for any other program (Isn't it a
matter of "Applications" folder ?)
