I have 8.6c on osx 10.4.8 If I quit VLC without closing the image window first, the next time I open VLC there is a broken audio pibe (no sound from VLC). Solutions: restart, OR quitting VLC again and opening eg. iTunes to a radiostation for a couple of minutes (this works sometimes, but not 100%). ???
