[vlc] Videolan

Hi:
 
I recently installed Videolan. It works just fine but takes over as the  
default graphics program so I uninstalled it. I use both the windows media  
program and CPIC and prefer to have the windows program as my default. I use  CPIC 
as a file manager as well as graphics program too. Is it possible to have  
Videolan installed but not as default? If so how do I do it?
