[vlc] Full MXF support in VLC Media Player

Hi,

 

We from MTV Networks are making a transition from DigiBeta tapes to the
sony MXF file playout systems Here for we need a simple review player to
look through some contend. VLC media player supports playback of the mxf
file (MXF IMX D10 50 Mbit) but it can not jog though the file. When you
do that it stops playout, and goes to idle. MXF files are used in the
broadcast environment in the Netherlands more often, so it might be a
good choice te take a look at it.

 

If you need a sample file we can provide it to you. (a small promo of
like 20 seconds is like 150 MB big so we can ftp the file somewhere)
