[vlc] vlc client video playing problem

Hi everybody
  i am using VLC to streaming out a video in the server port and receiving
the video in the client port.
But i met a problem like this: the video played in the client is shorter
than the video streamed out from the vlc server. for example, the video
streamed out from the server is 8secs long, but the received and played
video in the vlc-client port will be about 6secs, it ends earlier in the
client.
 
so, anyone know about the problem? thanks very much for help.
