[vlc] VLC Update

I used the update feature to VLC 0.9.8 to update to 0.9.8a. Although  
the downloaded file said 0.9.8a it seems to be 0.9.8 when  
decompressed. The update feature tells me again that I need to update.

I am using a Intel IMac 2.4 ghz
