[vlc] Accessing stream advanced properties in HTML-embedded VLC

Hi all,
does anyone know if it's possible to access not-so-trivial properties
like the list of programs contained in a DVB stream using VLC
embedded in an HTML page?
We're trying to build a mosaic application which displays, for each
stream, additional informations like program name, what's next, and
so on.
