Hi all,
I have a small problem with one particular cinepak encoded file.
I've put uploaded a copy of the file:
ftp://streams.videolan.org/incoming/17_galaxy_collision_mhs_480x272_c.avi
System details:
Windows XP 32bit, SP3
Intel P4, 1GB RAM
NVidia Graphics
VLC Media Player 0.8.6h
VLC crashes shortly (1-2 seconds) after playback starts.
Windows produces the 'VLC media player has encountered a problem and needs
to close.' error box.
libcinepak_plugin.dll 0.8.6.0
Offset 00001f50
Exception information
Code: 0xc0000005
Flags: 0x00000000
Record: 0x0000000000000000
Address: 0x000000006fbc1f50
It plays back without a problem in WMP, (and I believe was played back in an
earlier version of VLC last year, but haven't yet verified this).
Any ideas ?
Mark
