[vlc] Continuous Playlist

Hi Everyone,
 
I am new to VLC. I have a simple task of automating a VLC playlist from the command line on a Linux machine. 
 
# vlc MyPlayList.m3u
 
My PlayList consists of short media files. The problem is that VLC closes after each item on the playlist, or readjust the size and position. How can I get it to play continuously. Like a continuous stream. But I don't need the browser I just want to use stand alone vlc.
 
Can anyone help?
