[vlc] fix filter options

Hallo,

I am trying to guide some people who are showing a film of mine on a  
macbook how to change the deinterlace settings. They are able to do  
it but with every loop it resets itself to the top option, i can  
change it by pressing the hotkey d till it goes to the desired option  
x and  it stays but there mashine is not strong enough for it and  
doesn't do it. Saving the filter option in the preferences also  
doesn't help. Is there a way to do it on the mac surface? there is no  
way i can guide them through it otherwise...
