We are currently in the process of compiling binaries for both Mac OS  
X and Windows. Previously, we agreed not to announce VLC 0.9.x  
publically to avoid broad attention on non-existing builds. Please  
stay tuned and feel free to join vlc-devel@ to get access to pre- 
release builds and to be able to get in touch with the current  
discussions.
