[vlc] on screen display menu

Hello,

I recently read an article describing how the author had created an on
screen display menu using remote "page up" and "page down" commands. I
downloaded the exe and it wouldn't work on my pc but I would like to be able
to create my own menu. I read the instructions on your site

there is very little introduction or examples on how to assign
commands
- is there somewhere else that I should read first?
