[vlc] Unable to play a DVD

Hi,

Using VLC 0.9.2 in Ubuntu 8.04.

I try to play a DVD through the GUI and I'm unable to start anything. I get
these error messages:

I tried to play without menus and without dvdnav-caching option but I get
the same results. I have tested different DVDs and nothing changed.

What am I doing wrong?
