Hello there,

the quicktime decoder module you are trying to compile is not based
upon libquicktime, but Apple's official QuickTime C API SDK (for Win32
and Mac OS X). This module makes use of Apple's binary codecs on the
supported platforms through the respective API. Anyway, QuickTime's C
API isn't 64bit compatible on _any_ platform and requires Wine on Linux.

In fact, you don't need this module. You can play virtually every so-
called QuickTime file or stream with a normal VLC binary [1].
Additionally, this module is highly out-of-date.

Best regards,

Felix

[1] VLC can't display QuickTime VR scenarios and can't decode some
really, really old QuickTime files from pre-1995, but that's it.
