[vlc] Transcoding in VLC

Hi,

 

Is it possible for VLC to trancode stream from MPGE-4 to MPEG-4 with
SDP(Session Description Protocol) files?

 

We have several IP camera streams feeding into a server which only could
broadcast MPEG-4 videos by reading their corresponding SDP files first. For
analog cameras on the other hand, an encoder would do the job by converting
the analog feeds into digital feeds while creating the SDP files. Could VLC
do the same for IP/digital cameras?
