Just compiled vlc 1.0.1 from tarball. Ran and got this message. vlc: error while loading shared libraries: libvlc.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Where is vlc looking? libvlc.so.2 is in /usr/local/lib. I assume make install put it there?? Mike
