[vlc] Subitles correcting while playing

Hi,
Is there a feature to correct subtitles while playing? (subtitles come
from separate file.txt)
It would be a very great feature if I could correct subtitles while
playing. It would significantly improve subtitles quality in all over
the world because VLC is so popular and many people like me can easily
contribute.

I was always thinking to contribute, to translate, but switching to
separate program to do it is for me difficult and thus a waste of
time.
