[vlc] want to revert to an older version

Last week I installed the latest VLC player and I have to tell you that now
avi videos that played fine before are blocky and choppy.. 

 

Can you give me a location where I can choose from various earlier release
versions... I just cant stand this latest release,,, I know you were trying
for improvements but I just see problems ...sorry..
