[vlc] can't install VLC

Hi,

I had to uninstall VLC (.8) because every time I tried to open it the error
box would come up numerous times regarding the .dll files.saying something
about couldn't find entry point. (It worked fine for the longest time ) So I
went to your site and downloaded the newer version, and now when I am trying
to install it on my computer I am getting error messages saying "Error
opening file for writing"

Any suggestions?
