[vlc] HELP .iso not among files list. Why?

You should be able to set .iso to open per default VLC by setting this
preference in Windows. Easiest way:
1. right-click an ISO file
2. 'open with... other'
3. select VLC & check 'always use with this type of file' (or whatever it
says --sorry, not in Windows right now)
