[vlc] VLC for ASUS 701SD eee PC?

Hi,
I recently purchased an ASUS 701SD Eee PC with a Linux OS. I'm not entirely
sure which Linux it is however, thus I don't know what link to use to
download VLC on this.

If you can just let me know if the ASUS Linux version is even compatible
with VLC I'd be very grateful.
