[vlc] VLC media player v0.6.8d

Whenever I open up VLC I keep getting this error message that does NOT go
away no matter what I do! Pls see attcahment. How do I PERMANENTLY get rid
of it pls? The ".srt" subtitle file it wants is long gone a year ago!!!!
