[vlc] vlc extension

Hi 

 

I have looked in the forum etc. and cannot find an answer to my problem.

I have uninstalled video lan as it did not do what I was looking for. It has
added .vlc to all my .ts files so I can no longer play them. How do I remove
this prefix?

Right click and select rename only shows .ts so .vlc cannot be edited out.

Ps. I was looking for something that would allow me to stream to my Kiss
1600 media player with a better menu system than that supplied by
Kiss/Linsys.
