Hello VideoLAN-Team,

is the VLC able to process videos, especially 720p/1080p videos/Blurays,
through the GPU? Does it support nVidia's PureVideo(HD) and/or ATi's
Avivo(HD) GPU-sided video processing?

If not, when can this option/feature be expected, if you are able to
implement this? (I hope that both technologies don't require a license...)
So far, only Cyberlink's PowerDVD 9 can use both technologies, which
boosts up HD video processing.
The VLC is the best free video player to display HD videos, without
using too much CPU resources. But on occasion, 1080p/Bluray playback
gets a lot of lags because the CPU has too much to do.

Thanks for this awesome program and keep up the good work,

Moritz Krause
