Hi,

I tried to compile vlc-1.0.3 on RHEL 5 OS. I was able to compile all the
libraries in extras/contrib. Even the configuration of vlc has gone well.
But, while making I am getting following error. What should I need to do to
resolve this. Pl. find the error logs while performing make here under:

I searched for /usr/include/linux/magic.h file and it is not there rather I
could able to find /usr/include/magic.h file but which is not having the
parameters which were displayed as undeclared in the above log. Whether I am
missing anything? What are the packages I need to install to get these
header files? Is there any patch available for this problem?

Thanks & Regards,

Ravinder
