[vlc] VLC 0.9.x maintenance ends

	Hello again,

In line with well-established practices within the VideoLAN project, 
maintenance of the 0.9.x branch of the VLC media player has now come to its 
end. The VideoLAN project has very limitted resources and is currently unable 
to provide adequate support for more than one stable version at a time.

Note that all versions from 0.9.0 through 0.9.10 suffer from now known 
security issues, as well as major bugs (such as the infamous "video in 
separate window" bug). If you have not already updated to version 1.0.x, 
please consider doing so as soon as possible.
