[vlc] 264 elementary stream

To whom it may concern.

We use VLC to play 264 elementary stream files.  Recently we upgraded to
1.0.2 and found that it now longer plays the files.  VLC seems to detect
the resolution of the file and the application resizes appropriately,
but it just displays black instead of the video.

We found that 0.9.8a was the last version that successfully played the
files.  Versions 0.9.9 and after exhibit the issue.

We can send a small 264 file upon request.

Any help would be appreciated.
