[vlc] Solved problem with downloading new update

"A new version of VLC (1.0.2) is available

 

This version introduces many fixes, notably for SSA decoding, v4l2, MacOS interface, ogg/theora, x264 modules and security issues. It also introduces the port to 64bits for Mac OS platform and 2 new languages (Kazakh and Croatian)."

 

Any attempt to download it results in the following error message:

 

Saving file failed 

Failed to open C:\Documents and Settings\Fred L. Tate\My Documents\" for writing.

Problem solved; figured out the simplest way of all to solve it. 

Simply removed the old version completely and then downloaded the new version; works fine.
