[vlc] Xorg usage by vlc

Hi,

when measuring the cpu consumed by vlc on my Linux with top I have noticed
that the Xorg's cpu utilization was always changing during the display of my
movie.

Could you explain me why ? and if you have an idea of how to measure the cpu
really use by vlc while decoding and rendering a stream. (I have use the sum
of top values for vlc and Xorg)
