[vlc] problems with the new download

I have tried to download the upgrade of VLC media player, but I always get
the same error:

 Saving file failed.
Failed to open "C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\" for writing.



I've tried to download it to various directories, but they all fail.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, with plenty of disk space and 2 GB of memory.

Can you help?
