Hi Adam,

VLC 1.0.1 is compatible with Snow Leopard except for certain  
limitation with its Apple Remote support.

64bit support is not yet available, but for now, you don't miss much  
as its benefits would be limited.

Anyway, we will probably release such a version later this fall. For  
now, some incompatibilities with OS X's 64bit runtime on Snow Leopard  
still need to be fixed. Our current 64bit builds would only run on  
Leopard.
