[vlc] command?

Hi,

Is there a possibility to close VLC in a vba-application.

Startin Audacity goes like this
call shell ("C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe")

But which call do I have to make to close ? This does not work:
call shell ("C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe /exit")
