[vlc] File extensions and questions about VLC Media Player

Greetings,

 

We have a company that used the VLC Media player to create a video,
however, the information appears to all be contained in the *.exe file
extension for the product.  Is this something that could happen or
should there always be a video file format besides the *.exe file for
the player?

 

Any help would be appreciated.
