[vlc] autoupdater should not hide itself

when i agree to download update, select "Save" folder - then al  
update-related windows disappears and it takes about 20 seconds until  
downoading progress bar appears.

Phenom x 710 is fast enought processors, HDD is rotating - there is no  
obvious reason for delay.

Overall it looks like something failed and VLC had given up on update.

Probably VLC is going through series of HTTP redirects or creating file  
for filign it with downoaded contents or whatever.
Yet it looks very different.

Guess auto-update/downloader process is to be reworked, so that some kind  
of status/progress window always was visible to user.
