[vlc] problem sending a DVD COPY BY MAIL

Dear Sir,

When I send a DVD from my HDD to a mailreceiver, they cannot open it.
It opens very shortly and end immediately afterwards.
How must I proceed for sending DVD copies from my PC to somebody by mail?
