[vlc] sharpen function problem in downloaded videos from redtube

sharpen function problem in downloaded videos from redtube.
 
vlc 1.0.5 and old versions.
 
windows XP 
 
to download videos from redtube for example use:
 
http://www.ant.com/video-downloader/
 
 
seems a problem with the resolution of the videos:
 
584 x 336
 
584 x 448
 
sharpen function does not work well with videos of that resolution.
