[vlc] Fwd: Need Support

When I hit the "Go" button, it takes me to the Download page to get the VLC Media Player but I can't find anything like "application/x-vlc-plugin".

I tried loading a music CD into the MacBook and iMac but iTunes opens on both machines but I can use VLC to play the CDs by opening it and clicking play and then select the "Disc" tab and the CD and the music will play but VLC doesn't open automatically like it does on my old PC.
