Hi,

I have found any documentation that explains buffering politics used by VLC.
I've found that you can change the caching level but I haven't found what
does that mean internally ...

I'm wondering if the buffer size is fixed, if it computed based of some
parameters of the stream or if it is estimated at run-time, by estimating
the jitter of the network ?
(or maybe smthg else :p )

if someone can help me understand or point me some documentation that would
be very helpful.

cheers,

Maxime
