Hello!

Happy New Year!

I hope it can be interesting for you. I just search the ways to
improve the VLC media player by including the TTA lossless audio
support )) Is it possible?

The TTA (also known as True Audio Lossless) is international project
of free, open source lossless audio codec. The project develops
personally by me and I believe, that it's a very perspective project,
because:

The codec was developed to work in a stream; It has a small and clear
code, It's specially developed to work with hard limitations for
memory usage and time delays; The TTA compressor can work without
buffering of data; Unlike others lossless audio compressors the TTA
requires same processor load both in a play mode, and at encoding,
i.e. in case of using TTA codec the time of coding is equal to time of
decoding; Low processor load in each work mode is our basic priority.

Project site is very popular (about 1500 visitors per day shows Google
Adsense, site Page Rank is 5 now, it was 7 in peak). I going to place
at our project site the complete information about each of TTA
supported Projects.

Lot of references about TTA format: http://www.google.ru/search?q=TTA+true+audio
Project site: http://true-audio.com/
Sourceforge progect: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tta
Hardware support page:

Whether it is possible to add support of TTA audio format to your project?
I’m ready to help in programming the TTA audio format support in VLC
media player if it’s required.

Yours faithfully,
