[vlc] Make a dvd

Hi My name is Anthony I am not very good with computers but getting better.
My son down loaded his video recorder to my iMac but I could not access them
until I Down loaded VLC after talking to Apple, now I can view them (
definitely a step in the right direction ) now I could do with some help
getting them onto a DVD so we can view them on The TV can you help.
I am sorry if this is the wrong address I have tryed others with no luck.
