[vlc] VLCMedia Player

Hello

My computer had an upgrade to Vista HP from XP.

The Media Player/Centre keeps asking for Sonic cine Player Decoder Pack whenever I try to play a DVD.

Will downloading VLC media player cure this problem and be a substitute for the Windows Media Player.
