[vlc] how do you afford this?

I was wondering, is this all non-profit?

I see that you are a large team that you are working on this. But why?
And how do you pay for hosting costs?

I was just wondering, because I've never gotten these free non-profit
websites.
Are you all just volunteers working on this in your free time?
