Neither Fedora nor RPM Fusion support Fedora version longer than 2 Fedora
release and one month:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/LifeCycle

That been said, you can install Fedora 8 packages using the rpmfusion-free
release that can be downloaded here:
http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/updates/8/i386/rpmfusion-free-release-8-6.noarch.rpm

I will try to refresh the page to mention that.
