[vlc] MPEG4 licensing for VLC..

We are a "user" company that does not develop products.  But we are
    still concerned about the licensing for VLC as we are considering
    using it for all of our playback needs.
 
 If I understand correctly, the MPEG4 licensing has to come from the
    MPEGLA people.  Does the VLC product  have a standing right to use MPEG4
    codecs?  IOW, does VLC have a license to use this codec within the VLC product?
