[vlc] C++ assertion failures

Hello, I've been testing a program called Videolan Movie Creator that is based off of the VLC media player.
 
There has been a problem with VLMC involving a C++ assertion failure. The specific details of it are in the attachment.
 
The reason I am contacting you is because the problem is believed to lie in the VLC player itself. Meaning that the VLMC team can't do much to fix the problem.
 
Any help would be appreciated.
